because + reason (bởi vì, do, nguyên nhân)
because + clause
Ex: we cancelled our flight because the weather was bad.
because of + noun/noun phrase
Ex: we cancelled our flight because of the bad weather.
Sau because là 1 mệnh đề, câu còn sau because of thì mệnh đề đó đã được rút gọn chỉ còn 1 danh từ hay 1 cụm danh từ.
VD:
He crashed his car because he was driving too fast
He can't drive because of his illness
